Couples looking for charm

We had a lovely stay! The breakfast was top-notch, plenty of fresh food to fuel us for the day. The room had these quirky features, an interestingly decorated bathroom, which made it feel special. Plus, the staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. So good.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive though, but worth the experience!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, offering complimentary water whenever requested, which was a thoughtful touch.

The elevator only serviced between floors, making it necessary to walk at least half a flight of stairs at each end of the trip, which could be a bit cumbersome.

Consider exploring the vibrant pedestrian zone for shopping and dining options just minutes from your room.

The Hotel Rebstock boasts an excellent location, just a short walk from the beautiful lake. The unique decor in my room added a lot of character. I loved the spacious setup, especially the balcony with a stunning view. Breakfast was delightful. freshly baked breads and delicious croissants made every morning special. The staff offered exceptional assistance, particularly with sorting out any needs I had during my stay. Getting to and from the train station was a breeze! On the downside, the elevator is quite small and some noises from traffic and church bells could be distracting at times. I also missed breakfast by just a few minutes, which was disappointing. Still, this hotel has so much charm and amenities that I would be happy to return.

Noise from traffic and church bells interfered with sleep, making nights restless!!! Tiny elevator created challenges with luggage!!! Inconsistent heating left the room feeling uncomfortable!!! Old and rustic bathrooms didn’t fit modern expectations!!!

The bathroom was quirky but the air conditioning was super loud.

The location is ideal, right next to Hofkirche and the Reuss river, allowing for easy access to various attractions. Breakfast offered a good selection including muesli, Swiss cheese, and fresh bread. The reception staff were friendly and extremely helpful, and I appreciated the free travel pass for public transport, which made navigating the city hassle-free.

The elevator only serves mid-level floors, requiring some stairs to access the rooms.

We stayed in a spacious Double Room with my brother, and the kids loved the nearby lake activities like boat tours. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast spread was delightful, featuring a variety of options. Our room was also very clean and well-lit.

In my wife’s opinion, the lack of an elevator was challenging with our luggage.

It was just a fitting option for a two-day stay in Lucerne with excellent value for money. The mixed salad was excellent, as was the local Swiss wine. Consider trying to sit inside if it's too hot outside.

the ceiling was really low, and i hit my head a couple of times. but the view from the room was stunning! ! also, the overall location was perfect, close to the lake. staff were also super helpful and friendly!
